Dry corn seeds - 1/4 cup
Powdered salt to your taste
powdered kala namak - about 1/2tsp
black pepper powder - 1/4tsp
garam masala powder - 1/4tsp
oil - 2 Tbl sps
And a pinch of turmeric
- Heat a kadai with oil
- When it smokes reduce flame and put all the powders and corn in the oil.
- Now close the kadai with a proper big lid so that when corn pops with splutters, it will not spill over.
- When the spluttering stops take the lid out and switch off the stove.
- Serve immediately or store in air tight container.
Do not put more corn at one time. A handful or 1/4 cup makes a kadai full of pop corn..
